Not at all. Tandem flights require zero prior experience. You fly with a certified pilot who handles everything — all you need to do is enjoy the view.
How long does a tandem paragliding flight last?
Flights typically last between 15 and 45 minutes depending on weather conditions and the package you choose.
What is the best time of year to visit Bir Billing?
March to June and September to November are the ideal seasons. Skies are clear, thermals are strong, and the landscape is stunning.
Is paragliding safe?
Yes — when done with qualified professionals. All our pilots are APPI-certified and we follow strict safety protocols. We cancel flights if conditions are not right.
Can I do the paragliding course as a complete beginner?
Absolutely. Our P1 course is designed for total beginners with no flying experience required. You’ll be airborne on day one.
What trekking routes are available near Bir Billing?
We offer several routes including the Bir to Billing trek, Barot Valley trek, Rajgundha trek, and trails through cedar forests to Tibetan monasteries. Routes range from easy half-day walks to full-day adventures — suitable for all fitness levels.
Do I need prior trekking experience?
No prior experience is needed for our beginner-friendly trails. For longer or higher-altitude routes, basic fitness helps. Our guides set a comfortable pace and all treks are led by experienced local guides who know the terrain well.
What is included in the camping package?
Our camping packages include tents, sleeping bags, bedding, campfire, BBQ, and hot meals. We handle all the setup so you can focus on enjoying the Himalayan stars. Morning tea and breakfast are also included.
Can I combine camping with trekking or paragliding?
Absolutely — our Trek + Camp Combo is actually our most popular package. You can also add a tandem paragliding flight to make it a full adventure day. We’ll customise an itinerary that fits your schedule and interests.
What should I pack for a camping night?
We provide all camping essentials, but we recommend bringing warm layers (Himalayan nights get cold even in summer), sturdy footwear, a personal first-aid kit, sunscreen, and a water bottle. A headlamp is handy too.
